Paul is a local inhabitant from El Salvador City, Philippines. An owner of a start-up company Mangium Software Development Services and a known co-lead organizer for local geek community Google Developers Group - Cagayan de Oro and Leader of Information Technology Group - Region X. He is passionate in sharing his knowledge in technology accumulated over 8+ years of experience in software development to local and emerging communities in his hometown and nearby bustling city of Cagayan de Oro.
He started his career at Orange and Bronze Software Labs. in Makati City as a developer after graduating from Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan taking an award for "Best in Business Software Development". While employed at O&B, he got in for TESDA scholarship on a Java Boot Camp training for almost 4 months and after the rigorous training, he was deployed to a team comprised of seasoned developers whose focus is on Enterprise Java based projects serving US based client as part of the company's outsourcing and accelerated remote and development Philippine team.
After more or less 4 years of experience, he decided to pursue and continue his career as a software developer from his hometown. He then became a consultant for a software company Cleversoft, Inc. and various other local businesses. Worked as outsourced software developer of a US based company specializing on social media and promotions.
He then became passionate in sharing his knowledge to the community through various organizations he is connected with. Providing support for Google Developers Group, DevCon, Java Dev Knots and ITGX. He speaks occasionally about Java related technologies, TDD and on leadership.
